Walk to Shimshal
Shimshal - not a place to visit if you are short of time. In June 2005 the village Jeep road became impassable after sections were destroyed following heavy rains and landslides/rockfall (this is not uncommon). The result was that I had to walk the majority of the way there. 29km down, about 40km to go!
