West of Utah hwy 10 is this curious field dating back exactly 70 years. Pretty yellow sandstone is plentiful here, about 5 miles north of I-70. Named after Ute Indian Chief Wahkara, who was baptized in 1850. He enjoyed camping in the area. 12/4/2011
