Great...

The first one to comment on your wonderful page! I remember my geology instructor at community college level (in 1987) commenting on this great ice age flood event. It was a big one!
I went on to work for the Forest service in Wenatchee; and that was the best summer of my life! I really love eastern WA, and a lot of the geology is "overlooked" in favor of the stratavolcanoes to the WEST. I won't name what they are ... Thanks for sharing this with us, Dean. As always, Larry

That is amazing, you've had so many cool experiences. I can't believe I lived in eastern washington so many years before I was aware of this Ice Age Flood stuff. It opened my eyes to how the scablands and other aspects of that area developed. I hope to eventually find all ten of the Bjornstad geologic geocaches, perhaps with my grandsons in a few years. This is a heck of a page

Revisiting this page and noticed just how great it is. I've pointed several people in the direction of this page over the last few years living here and people really like this hike once they experience it.
