Were there any blackflies around, or
is that only in August? I remember those
nasty buggers, when I was doing trail work
in Mount Rainier National Park.

Re: Great !It was a bit too early for the lil buggers. Typical blackfly season in the Adks is Memorial Day to Independence Day.
