Short and brushy!
I took the direct route up the west slopes leaving FR-612 about 1 mile in at that flat area. The part above the stock tank is pretty brushy but once above that the rest of the route is straightforward. The view from the summit are tremendous. Awesome hike and only 8 entries in the summit log in 17 years since it was placed.

Forgot to sign in
Followed road north to the ridge to the top, then directly west downslope. Brushy. Nice views, unlikely to see anyone on this hike.
