Neat shot

that's a great view. I've never been out here before, but this area looks a lot like the Elkhorns. Is the geologic composition comparable?

Yes, I've always thought of the Selway Crags as being very similar to the Elkhorns, at least the northern Elkhorns. Mostly all granite.
