West Couloir

Looking up the West Couloir. Hmmmm, it doesn't look so bad. But there's a 5-ft wide constriction somewhere up there, one with deep, wide moats on both sides, that could each swallow ten blue whales whole. Downclimbing this constriction was the mortality crux of the climb. One slip, and it's down the hall you fall. July 31, 2010.
