it had been his right hand, it would have made matters more complicated during the rap off.

actually he is left handed and thought his hand was broke....so I lowered him the first two raps and gave him a fireman's the last rap....he is somewhat young and does not know what a broken hand truly feels like yet....hell he was climbing Sisyphus Summits with me two days ago, the longest limestone sport climb north of Mexico at 21 pitches, 5.10d! Trust me, I have given him a hard time...but you are right, he did bounce...another meter up on the climb and he would have broken a lot of things I am afraid....but the sad thing is he had the upper ledge, one more move!
