The descent was the difficult part  Sucess!

The ascend via West ridge was not very difficult, though it is rated here as class 4. The descend via the Southeast ridge was a real challenge since there was merely a sketchy trail and only in some places. Few times I ended up at dry waterfalls following what probably was a sheep trail.

West Ridge Pyramid Peak  Sucess!

Make sure you have enough daylight! The "Pyramid" (6,060 feet) is class 3. There is a fourth class bulge just shy of the final summit ridge. This section can be avoided by downclimbing a steep loose gully and traversing a wide shelf on the north side before climbing back up to the final class 2 summit ridge.
