Those shadows of the trees

are amazing, Marc. Almost looks like somebody painted them on the wall!

Oh yes, the shadows, I didn't know what I had till I saw the photo on my computer monitor. No artistic creativity there, I just wanted a photo of the rock.

Pebble pulling

The tree shadows are cool and the climbers give it scale. Great pic makes me want to go there.I was in Tuolumne only once in my life, I'd love to get back.

That's exactly right, "Pebble Pulling," if you get them. Most of the time you're pulling on dime edges or just pure friction.
Western Front is no place to lead a climb. You have one or two bolts for an entire 75-80 foot pitch. But, there is no shame in top roping here.
