Western Scrub Jay (Aphelocoma californica)- a noisy songbird perched on a Scrub Live Oak. Pine Creek area of Red Rocks, Nevada. October 2008. Its call is a hoarse shreep or quay-quay-quay Size: 28-30 cm (11-12 in) Wingspan: 39 cm (15 in) Weight: 70-100 g (2.47-3.53 ounces)

Thank you. There are so many jays in Red Rocks right now that I found some very nice blue feathers lying around.
