Western Skunk Cabbage

Found this about half way up Deer Mountain on the island of Ketchikan in Alaska. Theronmoon has brought it to my attention that it is called skunk cabbage.

Skunk Cabbage

It is called Lysichiton americanum or its common name Skunk Cabbage. A really cool plant from northern California to Alaska.
