No, not one of those high peaks in the distance, and not even that lower sandstone ridge a drainage closer. "Whale Peak" is that brushy peak yet another drainage closer (though the summit has clear views). Not a very sexy peak by any means, but still a first ascent by our group, and still in a spectacular and pristine backcountry area.
Note: this peak is not visible from any roads.
