Different colors of forestwould indicate: "the land of many uses"!

Yes it wouldSigns of deforestation are apparent everywhere in the area. In fact, the western side of the mountain-the side that everyone sees from Hwy. 97-actually had it's forested slopes cut down during WWII to make coffins for the dead soldiers whose bodies were returned to the U.S.
