I don't think...

I ever knew what a muskrat really looked like. If I saw this guy in the wilderness, I would have thought it was just an otter.
Your Waxing shot is great too. I sure would like to see one in nature.

There are quite a few muskrats that hang around this area, and they are especially little busy fellows during the spring as they are building their "dens" (I'm not sure if that is what they are called).

They are smaller than otters, they act a lot like little miniture beavers, only knawing at reeds instead of trees, and they have a rat like tail instead of a flat tail.

They are kind of cute.... in a muskrat sort of way!
