What goes up, must come down!...

What goes up, must come down! Glissading from the summit plateau of Mt. Lassen down the East face near the Southeast ridge. These are some very satisfying LONG glissading runs ... 2 glissaders are in the chute and our last guy is a dot at top and about to ski down the bowl. Snow was a bit soft to be perfect, but who can complain glissading thousands of feet down the face of this peak on a beautiful day! (March 13th 2004)

Must be great skiing there

Summer was beautiful, but now it´s time for winter to come!

I'm unfortunately not much of a skier, hoping to get the skills one day.



But, the majority of folks that we saw this weekend were skiers! That is the best way to get around because of the deep and soft snow pack and it is just a heavenly way to decend as well.



Backcountry skiers seeking gorgeous views, no crowds and tons of excellent skiing need to arrange a visit to Lassen!
