What is the best food for climbers?

What is the best food for climbers? It is chocolate for me... But for Dow - hard boiled eggs. He carried 3 eggs with him. I forgot to ask him about his cholesterol...

Re: wha???

He was looking scruffy and he mumbled something about the wife not really liking the new look. I guess we know who is in charge.

Food/Beard

I usually carry a Toblerone fruit and nut bar. I also usually carry one of those honey containers shaped like a bear. I use it to subside bonking under higher stress situations.

I'm pro-beard. I start growing it out when I have my first snow event of the year. I usually shave it once about Feb., as it does get old and then shave it off in May.
