Saw this 8/07 in Death Canyon, Grand Tetons. Anyone know what kind of creature this is?

Quail?

Anyone know what kind of bird this is? I found about 6 of them hiding in the grass.

Sage Grouse

This is a sage grouse. I grew up in Wyoming and they are pretty common.
