Where the Drainage Meets the Road

This sign was just a few feet away from where the drainage I followed most of the way down Sublette Peak met the dirt road between Wind River Lake and Brooks Lake. The drainage, or what's left of it, is a few yards to the left. I've posted this with hopes that it will be useful to anyone deciding to climb Sublette Peak the easier and safer way. This spot was about 28 minutes from Wind River Lake, so I estimate a distance of 1.5 miles. Absaroka Range, WY-- July 2009
