Unbelievable Views
Did the ridge with 2 other extremely competent climber/canyoneers. Started at Elena Gallegos at 4:15am and reached the tower by 7am. Clouds kept shifting the towers and faces of the mountains in and out of view making for a majestic and mysterious ambiance. Did the first half of the ridge in about 2 hours. Plentiful snow made the area around the 2 rappels sketchy and scary so it took about an hour and a half to get past that 100 yard long section. Overall pretty easy travelling, lots of places for pro but not many places that could be called bomber. finished in just under 12 hours. Exited using the section of old la luz that goes through the aspen grove below the talus fields to avoid bushwhacking uphill.

Second Attempt: Success!
Unplanned, extremely long day on the mountain with two novice climbers. We left Elena Gallegos at 7:15 am, started the ridge climb at 11:00 am, reached the high point of the ridge at 7:50 pm, found La Luz at 11:05 pm, and arrived at the La Luz Trailhead at 1:15 am.

First Attempt
Went solo from Elena Gallegos. Made it to the tram tower in 3 hours and spent an hour on the ridge messing around. I turned back when I realized it would take far too long. The return trip took just as long thanks to route-finding and bushwhacking difficulties.
