Interesting Beauty

The area around the cirque seems out of place with the jagged back drop. Very pretty!

Thank you! The backdrop is the Cottonwood Ridge on the other side of Little Cottonwood Canyon, and along with the dark-colored portion of the photo on the right, is much older rock than the granitic formation of the foreground (and up to the red/gray boundary in the background), which has its unique character, and is probably my favorite part of the Wasatch.
