Whitehorse Mountain

Whitehorse Mountain

This photo makes me think of the Alps. The actual summit is what looks like a small bump or ridge to the left of the dramatic sub-peak featured here. 5/5/07 This is an excellent view of the lower Whitehorse Glacier, a route we tried a year ago, but did not succeed. Tons of brush to beat to get there.

Superb lighting!

That settles it then. I'm headed out there this weekend. Thanks for sharing the beta info.

Whitehorse

I hope the weather is good for you. Remember...6,000 feet plus of elevation.

Just excellent!

I imagine the route preambulates through this portion of the glacier to get to the distant summit block. Looks like you did not have to contend with a final bergshrundel though. To me this picture epitomizes why we climb. Way to go!
