Whitestone Route

This is the driving route to Whitestone Ridge. The map shows the old direct ridge route as the primary road but that is no longer the case. The gate was open for me at the time I visited and the lookout was manned. In all likelihood, the gate is open if the lookout is there but would be locked when the lookout is empty as unmanned lookouts are frequently vandalized. Vandals are usually lazy and their acts often spontaneous so they won't normally walk a road just to trash something.
