Wild Blue Flax (Linum perenne)
Linum perenne var. lewisii is native throughout much of western North America mountains. Another similar variety of the species (var. perenne) is introduced from Europe and grows weedy in North America. This photo was taken in the foothills of the Seven Devils Mountains of Idaho. June 2006
