Wild Tiger Lily (Lilium canadense)

The wild tiger lily grows in wet meadows from Quebec and the northeast U.S. south in the mountains as far as Alabama. There are both red and yellow varieties, of which the latter is the more common. Photo from Warren County, Pennsylvania. July 2001
