Williams Lake Basin

Williams Lake Basin with Mt. Walter and Wheeler Peak. In the upper right hand corner above the second snow patch, the talus slope has a dark stain. The most commonly used descent route from Wheeler peak is in this darker shade of rock, and funnels all the way down the avalanche chute until reaching the lake.
