Wind/rain/sleet storm blowing through Cascade Pass
Taken from Sahale Glacier Camp looking towards Johannesburg Mtn and Cascade Pass, you can see the lower elevation storm squeezing through the pass. The hike up was windy, rainy, and sleeting at times, on Oct 18, 2005. Climbing Sahale Arm proved to escape above the storm, which allowed for a wonderful, calm evening view, and a fascinating show to watch the high speed clouds forming and rolling through the pass.
