Realize...

es más bien "darse cuenta de". Para realizar, en líneas generales, yo lo dejaría en "make". Seguiré mirando a ver si encuentro alguna otra cosilla. Por lo demás buen trabajo, me has hecho pasar mucha envidia.

Nice and comprehensive

route description.
One minor point: I would like you to change Windgraf into the correct Windgrat everywhere. Grat means ridge, but a Graf is a noble of ancient times (earl or so).

Cheers, Reinhard

Re: Nice and comprehensive

thanks Reinhard, it's a mistake in the trascription,... my English is bad but my German is worse, he,he. (I've wroten Windgrat)
I tried write the route very simple, remembering my experience in the night over the snow and it's not only a translation of the books. I included in the text small details interesting for the normal mountaineers in a great mountain.

Re: Nice and comprehensive

Thanks for the quick reaction.
Can you tell me a bit about the glacier situation from Mischabel hut to Windjoch (crevasses)?

Greetings
Reinhard

Re: Nice and comprehensive

the crevasses are on right side and for this reason you must walk in direction to plateau under the summit and not directly to winjoch. In this small plateau (1h from the Hut) you're safe and you can turn to right to reach the bottom of Winjoch
