Windy conditions on Mt....
Windy conditions on Mt. Shasta- as an indication of the intensity of the wind, the last time it had snowed was 1.5 weeks before- that snow being blown had been anchored to the ground before. That ridge is approximately at 10.5k'. We were turned back by the wind at ~ 13.4k' (700' short of the summit)- 13 March, 2005
