Great report; nicely told with great photos. We can all identify when that fear and intimidation factor rears its head and you've got to make that tough choice whether you're in over your head, or there's too much risk, or "I can do this." This ought to be a featured report; hope you get a lot more votes.
Hey guys, congratulations! Great pictures and narrative to go along...you both should be proud..and i hope you remembered to call your mom when you were done! congrats...
Hi Scott: Congrats on giving birth to yet another instant classic winter climb on Lone Pine Peak. Now the concept of NO WINTER ICE in the Sierra can be challenged again. Looks to me like a wonderful line to do in the winter. Funny, Joe LeMay called me last night (I'm not inventing this) and sugested that we go there this weekend and try to get the FWA of his route. Miguel and Joe scooped you and you returned the favor. I think that's great. Again, congrats on a good climb, great photos and a birth of yet another good winter outing on this uncommon peak.
I'm really impressed with your perserverence and determination! Excellent TR!! Congrats!!

Looks like good fun, thanks for sharing the experience! Faces look familiar, I think we ran into you guys in the Bugaboos hut last summer and chatted for a bit... good to see you on SP!
sounds like a great winter climb with the right conditions. the previous cold snap made your timing perfect, ice on a south face. best of all my favorite kind of tr, lots of good photos. good job
