Um, December 1980...Reagan had just been elected and I was in 1st grade getting beaten by Sister Madonna for my bad handwriting and sassy attitude. ;)

LOL! I think I once saw a movie about a girl with a sassy attitude and bad handwriting being spanked by a "Sister Madonna". She was way older than first grade, though. ;-)
