Winter morning in the Sierra

A cold winter morning on March 16 at 7:30 AM at Upper Boyoscout Lake (11,300 feet) in the Sierra. Temperature was 8 degrees fahrenheit inside the tent at 7 AM.

Beautiful Place

Has it been a high or low snow year? this reminds me of May 2005.

It started off as an above average year for precipitation but after a warm few weeks it is looking pretty normal right now. If we don't see any more big storms I'm guessing it'll end up being somewhere between average and a little below average. But, yes it is a beautiful place!
