The ruins of the castle on the summit of
Góra Zamkowa (Castle Mountain) at
384m on the fringes of the town of
Wleń, in the
foothills of the Western Sudetes. In order to protect its flora, the mountain has been designated a nature reserve. What is left from the castle – before World War II called Hedwigsburg – is its oldest part built by Prince
Henryk I Brodaty in the first half of the 13th c.
