Nice shot.

Had you just done Steel Cliff Gullies and were finishing up Wy'East?

Thanks. We climbed the ramp that faces more to the South, not the "west-face" gullies. We encounted waist deep snow on the ramp, and this turned into a mini-epic day... 14 hours to summit (in the dark)!

Sounds familiar. Did the Steel Cliff Route in warm conditions. Waist deep holes in the snow, rock that oozed like mud, took forever. Interesting fumaroles up top on the ridge though. Took us so long we then bailed down the start of the Wy'East route. Good times....
