Yainax Butte area

From highway 140, head south on County road 1083 until you get to county road 1499. Take this one since it turns into the Keno Springs Road. Follow the map, see yellow diamonds and lat/long nad 27 gps coordinates as aides. Many of the roads are not signed and so the GPS coordinates will help. On the map, a dashed line is shown but it is now a road and it was the way we found to come down off of the summit road since the road marked 'paint scratcher' was overgrown badly with mountain mahogany bushes that are taking over the original road.
