Looking back and enjoying the scenery on the way to the summit of Mt. Yamnuska, Banff. After reaching the summit, we set up camp and from our warm sleeping bags, watched a full moon rise over the mountain...one of life's sweet little moments.

If the person with the

blue backpack had been facing toward the lens of the camera, I could have included it in the "Mountains of Smiles" album. That's what you'd call a HIGH CAMP. Talk about keeping fit - job well done!!! -Larry

Yes, but if I turned around I would have taken the chance of toppling over the edge due to the 45 pound pack! And...I didn't even bring my hairdryer!

Orange dot

The orange dot in a distance, I guess that isn't your tent
because you are carrying a big pack. But, you must have camped somewhere nearby!

Yes, we set up camp not too far from where I am standing, on a little ridge. All was well until the extreme winds hit in the middle of the night and I envisioned being hurled all the way down to the car.

Thanks so much...it was a super climb! Love your animal shots, animals never pose for me so politely, you must have a lot of patience to get such great pics!
