Scary!I have always done my best to avoid pitches like this. Still there were times that I had to lead pure friction pitches like this without any pro. I hate them with a passion. There are a few pitches like this on Stately Pleasure Dome in Tuolumne.

Sorry, Radek,Forgot to mention that I have always admired climbers who take pleasure in doing friction pitches. You are a great climber who is well-versed in all types of climbing.
BTW, really like your trip reports. They are fun to read.
