Zigolades: the rocks burn!
On the left you can see Mugoni South summit (2739m) with the edge where runs the Vinatzer route (TD, V+ UIAA, 350m), in the foreground the rocky towers of Zigolades (2580m).

Mugoni, in the Val di Fassa traditions, are a mountain inhabited from witches. They say that during their sabbah, witches made roll down some wheels of fire from the summit of Mugoni towards Ciampedìe, and this wheels end their run against some rocky ridges, the Zigolades (in Ladin language Zigolades means “burnt”)
