This is a glacier?

The lower Tasman Glacier is completely covered with rocks that must have fallen on the glacier upstream and are gradually swept down. The uncovered and uneroded side moraine bears witness that it must have been much deeper not very long ago. Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand.
