Hasn't voted | Yep --- spring/fall is best for these types of peaks. especially if the ground is mostly frozen to consolidate the sand/gravels.
The day I took these pictures, I did not have snowshoes or skis. The roads were thigh-deep powder with a light crust, as were all north-exposed or flat areas. | | Posted Feb 28, 2004 5:54 pm |
