Sniezne Kotlyyeah I saw the place only once, when I was beginning my adventure with the mountains in 1996 and still remember that sharp contrast between the strange shape of that building and such nice scenery of the area...
I think Samotnia hut area made the best impression on me at that time. Beauty.

Re: Sniezne KotlyYes, I've been only once on the polish side of Karkonose, for a whole traverse. I remember some places being nice, some less. In general, unless the top is covered with forests, I am totally against constructions on summits... (Sniezka don't fail to the rule)

Re: Sniezne KotlyThe forest valley leading from Karpacz to Lomniczka kociol under Sniezka was also very nice as I remember.
Talking about these summit buildings, any of them, I am on your side...whenever I see these proud alpine summits "embellished" and full of concrete around I almost start to vomit.
