Re: Where is that?Trail head at Wright's Lake just west of Desolation Wilderness, the peak is just NW of Mount Price I think I'll try my hand at my first mountain page, it's a real nice summit. I can't get my other images not to be sideways though and the help page is no help....

Are you sure it is 9760?On Peakbagger, I found a point 9640-9680. above Hemlock Lake. This peak matches the photo. It is kind of the shoulder of Mount Price, with a prominence of only about 180 feet: http://peakbagger.com/peak.aspx?pid=-39145

Re: Are you sure it is 9760?I'll check, maybe I reversed the 7 and 6 and it's 9670

Re: Are you sure it is 9760?Actually it is 9318. And I can tell you prominence aside, this hike/climb up to the summit is a far better hike than Price. Price is a mere bump along that ridge.

Re: Not correctThat is the summit on the left of the photo. It's Point 9318, with about 60 feet of prominence. On the right of the photo is Point 9680 which is in between Mount Price and Point 9318. It isn't listed as a Point on topo maps. It is the closed contour just above the 9400' line directly above the "L" in Desolation on the map in your link.
