Actually, we were just playing around after we had been playing all day on the Cowlitz glacier. I was so lucky to have 5 nice days to play with on Mt. Rainier that August. Scanned from Kodachrome 25 to digital Aug 1969

Check out the harness. We used webbing and made our own harnesses. They worked OK but they were a pain when you were doing crevasse rescue stuff. Ouch. ; )
