29.1.2006. Königsee frozen - Watzmann East Face lurking in the background. So, once every 10 years or so - you can walk into the Watzmann face climbs - saving the electric boat fare in the summer (I´m Scottish:) ) - only the climbs are a wee tad harder this time of year.

It's good that you have posted this photo. It is really a big spectacle - and normally I had to post picture - living in Berchtesgaden. But I don't have a good one :-(
