Thanks! Yeah, it was a nice crowd. Most of the people I meet in the mountains are very friendly and helpful. Conversely, craggers tend to want to keep to themselves more. Another reason I love the mountains!

It's probably the feeling of isolation (good kind of isolation) people get in the mountains and so they tend to be kinder to those few others they actually see there.................damn, this is way toooo early in the day for such deep thinking on my part!?

I agree. I guess I feel the same way. I am usually very friendly, but am always more friendly in the mountains. People are always in such a good mood, and enjoy talking about conditions, etc. Thanks for the votes and comments.

Do you know if any climbers camp in the Saddle overnight before climbing, or is it too risky.
