8/14/04: WEST RIDGE: Coming to the surprising notch. Arthur is standing at the edge of a steep dropoff down into the notch. We negotiated this spot and were able to make it up onto the other side, but our route-finding skills definitely led us astray after that point. We ended up never summitting. Someday I'l be back...
