I don't understand caption.The caption says this is the first ascent. It's obviously not. Even if cameras existed for the first ascent, and they took one with them, it certainly wouldn't have color or be of such quality. This looks to be fairly recent, using a digital camera due to the lack of grain. I've climbed this couloir about a half dozen times. The first time in the early eighties.
Also, I've always known this as the NE Couloir, which makes sense, since it faces NE.
