Ya gotta love this mountainThis is really a nice pic, the crevasses on Rainier are really amazing. I never get tired of pics like this one of yours.

Re: Ya gotta love this mountainThanks. I really enjoyed the glacial scenery on this climb - gaping chasms and huge seracs provided plenty to look at while slogging for hours on end.
I just wish I could get the horizon horizontal. Maybe someday I'll learn to hold the camera straight.

Re: Ya gotta love this mountainI often have the same problem with the horizon but my Thumbs Plus program (a cheap photoshop) allows me to correct it by rotating it the necessary degrees. I also use the same program for sharpening up most of my pics when I downsize them to fit here at summitpost.

Re: Ya gotta love this mountainI noticed another interesting anomaly while shooting the horizon. It curves and becomes somewhat round. Check my picture from Shasta for the good example. I am not using a fish-eye lense or anything similar. Any idea why this is happening in the mountains? I never get the same effect at the sea level.
