excellent report

Thank you very much for this fine trip report. It's amazing how many details you still know after so many years! Did you write a diary? And the viedos make the report even more vivid.

Re: excellent report

Thanks Mathias,
To be honest this report is based on the shorter Swedish version I tried to write on train back home while the sun wasn’t absent:) Seriously, my experience is that you remember things as you write.

Thrilling

Thanks for that new exciting TR!
I once tried Zinalrothorn - and failed, due to a bad health condition. This year it was bad weather and too much fresh snow in August. But your TR inspired me not to give up!
Cheers, Michael

Re: Thrilling

Thanks Michael!

I sincerely hope that you will succeed climbing the Zinalrothorn the next time you try. First in line increases the odds:)

Re: really nice

Thanks Michael,
I have always been fascinated by early Alpine stories. Just think of how it must have been to set out to climb the Zinalrothorn knowing that nobody had been up there.

Reading your story and seeing your pictures from this summer make me want to go there again!
