A junglual forest on the summit of the Glasfels !
The Glasfels is known for several important things, like those ones :
- 01) The two towers, with very difficult and sporty climbing routes.
- 02) The breeding of the peregrine falcon (from february to july ! ).
- 03) The big failure between the two towers, for hard-climbing ...
- 04) The nice view on the Rappenwand, from the higher summit ...
- 05) The general view, from the base, which is very spectacular !
But, the Glasfels is equally know for another thing, with a very junglual vegetation (the resinous forest is very dark and savage here). The flavour of the pines is very strong, good when we are ill (blocked noses ! ). On the floor of the highest summit, you can contemplate very beautiful cladonias lichens (white-green colour, which is very caracterial ! ). Finally, on the top of the two towers, you can see " bonzaï-pines " (those ones are growing on the top of the rock, and their ramifications are falling very deep into the air ! ).
